fwbd1,02, Im Café, Öl auf Karton, 60 x 80 cm, März 2000. Ein Bild von einem Innenraum geht auf eine Skizze zurück, die ich im früheren Café Belvedere gezeichnet habe, wo mir von einem bestimmten Tisch aus der Einblick in unterschiedliche gewölbte Räume möglich war. Das hat mir gut gefallen, auch die Tische mit den geschwungenen Beinen, von denen ich einen auf diesem Bild zitiere. Der zweite Tisch in ovaler Form, mit geraden Beinen steht in meinem Atelier. Dieser kommt sehr oft auf meinen Miniaturen vor. Ich habe ihn 1988 auf einem Flohmarkt bei der Grazer Herz Jesu Kirche erworben, ihn bisher sieben Mal übersiedelt, er ist ganz leicht zu tragen.
fwb1,02, In the Café, oil on cardboard, 65 by 85 cm, March 2000. This painting of an interior is based on a sketch that I drew in the former Café Belvedere. I was seated at a table from which I had a view into different arched rooms. I liked the view and also the tables with the curved legs, one of which I am citing in the painting. The second oval-shaped table with straight legs is in my studio and it often appears in my miniatures. I bought it at a flea market next to the Church of the Sacred Heart and have moved house with it seven times so far; it is not a heavy piece of furniture.
fwbd1,02, Al Café:olio su cartone, 60 x 80 cm, marzo 2000. Un quadro di uno spazio interno risale a uno schizzo che disegnai nel antico „Café Belvedere“, dove da un tavolo potevo vedere differenti vani a volta. Questo mi è piaciuto molto, anche i tavoli con le gambe arcuate, di cui sto citando uno su questo quadro. Il secondo tavolo di forma ovale con gambe diritte si trova nel mio studio. Esso si trova molto spesso sulle mie miniature. L´ho acquistato nel 1988 a un mercato delle pulci vicino alla chiesa Herz Jesu di Graz, l´ho trasferito finora sette volte, è molto leggero e facile da portare.
