03, Still Life with Clothes-line, oil on canvas, 40 cm by 50 cm, July 2000, painted after my third return, this time from Bolsena, some kilometres from Orvieto. When doing the washing I was thinking of the balcony we had there, and which was ideal to dry the washing. In my attic flat I had no such balcony.
03, Natura morta con corda per il bucato, olio su tela, 40 x 50 cm, luglio 2000, dipinto dopo il mio terzo ritorno, questa volta da Bolsena, a un paio di chilometri da Orvieto.Facendo il bucato mi venne da pensare al balcone che avevamo lì, ideale per stenderci il bucato. Nella mia mansarda non ne avevo.
