fwbd2,13, Liebliches Frauenbild mit Zahnbürste, Öl auf Leinwand, 40 x 120 cm, 2006. Einer meiner Förderer fand, er habe sich endlich ein Bild verdient. Womit er durchaus Recht hatte. Am liebsten wäre ihm eines, auf dem alles durcheinander ist, in einem schmalen überlangen Format. Das empfand ich als sehr schwierigen Auftrag und er missglückte auch, an den Ansprüchen des ursprünglich gemeinten Empfängers gemessen. Das Ergebnis war ihm dann viel zu lieblich, dieses sei ein typisches Frauenbild.
fwbd2,13, Charming Woman’s Painting with Toothbrush, oil on canvas, 40 cm by 120 cm, 2006: One of my sponsors was of the opinion that he finally deserved a painting. He was actually right. He wanted to have one in which everything was in a mess, and it should have an unusual format – narrow and long. I felt it was an extremely difficult task and in the eyes of the originally intended receiver of the painting I actually failed. He regarded the result as too charming and called it a typical woman’s painting.
