Nachdem ich den Auftrag für eine Landschaft mit Teich ausgeführt hatte, malte ich eine für mich selber, wie ich mir diese bei Tageslicht vorstellte, Von diesem Bild ausgehend malte ich später eine Reihe von Teichlandschaften, die inzwischen zu meinem Standardrepertoire gehören.
fwbd4,25, Scenery with Pond, oil on canvas, 60 by 80 cm. After having completed a commission for a scenery with pond I painted one for myself the way I imagined the place in daylight. Starting from this one I later painted a series of landscapes with ponds which now are part of my standard repertoire.
