Zu Fuß könnte man das tun. Mit dem Auto kann man nur aus dem hinteren Bildraum dem Betrachter entgegenfahren, weil ich das Bild mit Blick gegen die Einbahn gemalt habe. Der dunkle schmale Eingang links hinter dem roten Mauervorsprung ist der unscheinbare Eingang zur Galerie Tondinelli, sehr leicht zu übersehen, und noch leichter, wenn die drei schmalen hohen Rollläden heruntergezogen sind. Der winzig kleine Galerieraum ist nach hinten mit dem von außen unsichtbaren großen hohen Gewölbe des Gebäudes von Borromini verbunden.

You could do that on foot. By car you could only drive towards the viewer from the background of the picture as I painted the picture looking into the one-way street against the driving direction. The dark and narrow entrance behind the red projection on the left wall is the entrance to the gallery Tondinelli, easy to overlook, especially when the high red shutters are down. The tiny room of the gallery is connected to the huge vault of the Borromini building on the backside, which cannot be seen from outside.

Una macchina invece potrebbe soltanto venire incontro all’osservatore perchè avevo dipinto il quadro contro senso. L’entrata stretta e scura sulla sinistra è quella della Galleria Tondinelli . Il piccolo spazio della galleria è collegato all’interno con le grandi volte , invisibili dall’esterno, di Palazzo Borromini.
