16, Kochstelle mit Ausblick, Öl auf Leinwand, 60 x 80 cm, März 200. Dieses Bild war das vorläufig letzte in dieser Spachteltechnik vor einem Schockerlebnis. Seit ich mich in der Schumanngasse angesiedelt hatte, trafen wir uns hauptsächlich bei mir, nicht nur, weil hier mehr Platz ist, auch weil ich eine helle, freundliche Küche habe. In seiner Küche gibt es nicht einmal ein Fenster, worüber er sich immer wieder geärgert hat. Wenn ich ihn jetzt vermisse, schaue ich zum Küchenfenster hinaus oder gehe auf den Balkon und tröste mich mit meinem Ausblick.

Since I settled in Schumanngasse we mainly met at my place, not only because it is more spacious but also because I have a bright, friendly kitchen. In his kitchen there is not even a window, a fact which has annoyed him again and again. When I miss him I look out of my kitchen window or even go out on the balcony and comfort myself with my view.
16, Cucina con vista, olio su tela, 60 x80 cm, marzo 2001: Questo quadro è stato l’ultimo di questa tecnica prima di un’esperienza scioccante. Da quando mi ero trasferita nella Schumanngasse, ci vedevamo soprattutto a casa mia, non solo perchè c’è più posto, ma anche perchè ho una luminosa cucina accogliente. La sua cucina non ha neanche una finestra, motivo per frequenti arrabbiature sue. Se ora mi manca, guardo dalla finestra della cucina o esco sul balcone e mi consolo con la vista che ho.
