Von einem bestimmten Punkt des Vorzimmers aus, konnte man meinen oder wünschen, das große Zimmer hätte ganz hinten einen Zugang zu einem weiteren Raum.. Dort war aber auch wieder nur eine Nische, genau für einen zweitürigen Kleiderschrank. Ich wohnte dort so lange, bis die Wohnung voller Bilder und praktisch kaum noch begehbar war.

When looking into the room from a certain spot in the ante-room one could think or wish that right at the back, there was an entrance to a further room. There, however, was another alcove, suitable for a two-door wardrobe. I lived there as long as there was room for my paintings while I could still enter my flat
fwbd3,42, Spazio interno , St. Peter Hauptstraße, olio su cartone e legno, 40 x 50 cm, 2000 e 2008. La mia mansarda in St. Peter Hauptstrasse era in sostanza una stanza singola con delle nicchie. Da una certa posizione nell’anticamera si poteva pensare o desiderare che la stanza grande, nella parte posteriore, avesse l’accesso ad uno spazio ampio. Lì, però, si trovava solo un’altra nicchia che lasciava il posto ad un armadio per vestiti a due ante. Abitai lì fin quando l’appartamento fu pieno di quadri e quasi inagibile
