Am Tag nach dem Ankommen habe ich zu Fuß die Wegstrecke zu der Stelle erkundet, wo ich das vorige Mal war, und ich freute mich riesig, zu entdecken, dass unmittelbar nach der Porta al Prato,(Öl auf Leinwand, 50 x 90 cm, 2015), von der wir nur wenige Meter entfern wohnen, auch schon die Via Fratelli Roselli ist, wo ich erst ein paar Monate davor war, und mir kam in diesem Augenblick vor, ich würde mich dort schon besonders gut auskennen. Von der Porta al Prato habe ich meinen ersten Eindruck bei Tageslicht später malerisch umgesetzt.

On the day after our arrival I went for a stroll in order to look for the place where I´d been the last time and I was more than happy when I realized that just next to the Porta al Prato where we lived, passes the Via Fratelli Roselli. I´ve been there just some months ago and I therefore remembered the neighborhood. My first impressions of Porta al Prato during daylight inspired me for the painting.

Il giorno dopo il nostro arrivo feci a piedi la strada fino al nostro alloggio precedente e fui molto contenta di scoprire che subito dopo la Porta al Prato , (olio su tela, 50 x 90 cm, 2015), si trovava Via Fratelli Roselli, dove ero stata solo qualche mese prima, e in quel momento mi sembrò tutto molto familiare. La prima impressione della Porta al Prato alla luce del giorno, la dipinsi su tela qualche tempo dopo.
