Vor jedem Hinausgehen cremte ich Ginas Pfoten mit Bienenwachssalbe ein, damit das Salz sie nicht ätzte. Die Menschen mit Hunden sprechen miteinander und gehen mit dem Salz ohnehin deutlich rücksichtsvoller um, die anderen lassen sich nicht blicken und häufen über Nacht vor ihren Häusern ganze Salzberge an, schon lange bevor wirklich Schnee fällt.

Dal momento in cui spargevano il sale, a ogni uscita mettevo una crema a base di cera d’api sulle zampe di Gina, per evitare conseguenze spiacevoli dovute al sale. I vari padroni di cani ne parlano tra di loro e limitano l’uso del sale ad un minimo, gli altri invece non si fanno vedere e buttano montagne di sale la notte, prima ancora che venga la neve.
